Quire · signature imposition

Quire puts every page where the fold needs it

Printing a book for hand binding means the pages can't go in reading order. Each sheet carries four pages from different parts of the signature, and the order only makes sense once the sheets are nested and folded. Quire works it out for you.

  • Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A4 and A3 paper
  • 1 to 8 sheets per signature
  • Fold lines, sewing stations, collation and trim marks
  • Your PDF stays on your computer. Nothing is uploaded.

Nest the four sheets and fold them once: pages 1 to 16 read in order, and the thread shows at the center spread, pages 8 and 9.
